Exercise HOPEX is a joint military exercise between the Indian Air Force (IAF) and Egyptian Air Force. 

About Exercise HOPEX

• It was held in Egypt from 21 to 26 June.
• Aim: To promote bilateral and regional cooperation, which is a symbol of the longstanding relations between the two countries. 
• The C-17 Globemaster and IL-78 tankers participated in the exercise.
