About the National Exit Test 

• The National Exit Test (NeXT) is a licentiate examination conducted by the National Medical Committee (NMC) under the provisions of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) Act 2020 and the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH) Act, 2020.
• It certifies the eligibility of the medical graduate to register to practice the modern system of medicine in India.
• After completing a one-year internship, the test is mandatory for licensing and enrollment in State or National Registers. 
• It also determines the eligibility and ranking of those desirous of pursuing further postgraduate medical education in India.

 

Aim: To ensure a fair and transparent process while maintaining the quality of Ayush education and healthcare standards.
